Call It Hate

Aims The project “Call It Hate: Raising Awareness of Anti-LGBT Hate Crime – CIH” aims to raise awareness of anti-LGBT hate crime among the general public and within the LGBT communities, emphasize the need to report, and empower victims.

#Balkan Pride

The “#Balkan Pride” project consisted of an exhibition, a public discussion with experts and activists from Bulgaria and the Balkans, and a music event – an acoustic concert by Mila Robert.

Together for the LGBTI rights in Bulgaria

The GLAS Foundation took part in the project “Together for LGBTI rights in Bulgaria” which was started in 2018 by the “Workshop for citizens’ initiative” Foundation in association with the Bulgarian Donors Forum, The Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitar Panitsa”, The “Education” Syndicate, part of the Confederation of Labour “Podkrepa”, and the LGBT Youth organization “Deystvie”.

Come Forward

The GLAS Foundation, along with 22 partners from 11 European countries, is working on a project called “Come Forward: Support for Victims of Anti-LGBTI Hate Crimes”, co-funded by the European Commission.

Sofia Pride – The biggest annual activist event in Bulgaria

Sofia Pride aims to counteract the methods and mechanisms of oppression towards LGBTI people in Bulgaria and to bring forth their individual and social empowerment, not just through their equal treatment without regard to their sexual orientation or gender identity, but also through public acceptance and improvement of their living standard.
