GLAS Foundation and partners presented two LGBTI-themed documentaries at the House of Cinema in Sofia

The GLAS Foundation and the House of Cinema in Sofia presented the documentaries ‘Strike a Pose’ and ‘Article 18’ for the first time on big screen in Bulgaria during Sofia Biting Docs Festival.

The screening of ‘Strike a Pose’, which tells the story of Madonna’s dancers 25 years after her legendary Blond Ambition tour, was preceded by a live voguing performance by the informal queer formation Queer Squad.

The premiere of ‘Article 18’, which explains why Poland has not yet legalized same-sex marriage, was accompanied by a discussion on the topic, focused on the Bulgarian context.
