“Rainbow Hub Without Borders”
“Rainbow Hub Without Borders”
The “Rainbow Hub Without Borders” project aims to increase the capacity of Rainbow Hub staff to work with refugees, victims of human trafficking, and sex workers by training the teams of the Rainbow Hub organizations – Bilitis, GLAS and Sappho. The goal is to reduce the negative effects of the war in Ukraine on LGBTI refugees by providing them with support that assists in their non-discriminatory acceptance, registration and treatment, as well as their integration in Bulgaria.
The project will contribute to reducing the negative effects of the war in Ukraine on LGBTI refugees by providing them with proper support to facilitate their non-discriminatory reception, registration and treatment, as well as their integration in the country. Rainbow Hub will provide a safe environment for humanitarian assistance, counselling and referral to other organizations and institutions that can address their identified individual needs. Partners will provide psychological support, referrals to legal and health services, and assistance in finding housing, employment or school for children of LGBTI families.
The project will increase the sustainability of Rainbow Hub, both by increasing its visibility in the public space and by increasing the variety of services and activities it provides to empower LGBTI communities.
