Sofia Pride 2019 will be on June 8

On June 8 this year will be held the 12th edition of Sofia Pride under the motto ‘Do not give power to hatred’. As usual, the event, in whose Organizing Committe the GLAS Foundation is part of, will start at 4 pm with a musical program at the Soviet Army Monument, and the march itself will be at 7.30 pm.

Among the first official guests who confirmed their participation in Sofia Pride 2019 is Mrs. Kamzy Gunaratnam, Deputy Mayor of Oslo, Norway. She has represented the Workers’ Party in the Oslo City Council since 2007, and achieved her post in 2015. Mrs. Gunaratnam focuses on health and social well-being and is active in community building, minority rights and social debates on democracy. She will be accompanied by an Oslo Pride Task Force.
